“to experience rebirth you have to grow”

My birthday was yesterday, I turned a quarter of a century year old, the big 25! I truly believe I’m not getting older but better with time.

Growing older doesn’t scare me, rather I embrace it with open arms. Society has made age out to be a cruel joke but I look at the aging process as something positive; it’s all about perspective. For me growing older has shaped me into the individual I am today.

Much wiser from past experiences, more confident and more certain. Over time, year by year, as I grow older I mature and blossom into a more beautiful woman who I’ve become very proud of.

Now don’t get me wrong I of course want to age gracefully, hell a girl still want to look good but I think I have that good black that don’t crack. The gene that my mother, aunt, Gabrielle Union and Nia Long all carry – lol.

Until next time…sometimes you just have to die a little inside in order to be reborn, to rise again as a stronger and wiser version of you

Great Feed Fatiyha! Thanks for the photo cred and it was great collaborating with you on this project! I agree that age is merely a number and it’s all about the persons mentality and maturity level. Keep up the good work!
