“life is a journey and love is what makes that journey worthwhile”

It’s a celebration, my blog turned 1 on January 1st!

It’s crazy to think that I’ve been blogging for a whole freaking year. The journey has been extremely enjoyable and a true learning experience. To think that thoughts of “I could never compare to some of my favorite bloggers” almost prevented me from starting, is sickening.

Now that I’m officially a blogger, I’ve learned so much in my short time while blogging but most importantly I learned to never compare myself, my progress to other bloggers. Peer comparison is a terrible disease. The pictures we see of other bloggers are self edited and the moments and information shared is carefully chosen. We only see people in their best light and to compare your struggles with the perception you see of another blogger is deadly. All bloggers are in their own lane and we all bring something different to our blogs that no one else can, ourselves! Be inspired by other bloggers, don’t feel inferior or jealous.

Until next time…Happy Anniversary to my blog, my love, write the town red
